Members of the Advocacy Committee keep abreast of legislative issues, write letters, and lobby for equal civil rights for GLBT persons.
The PFLAG Denver Board of Directors has passed a resolution in support of Affirmative Action in order to oppose the Colorado Civil Rights Initative that will appear as a ballot initiative on the Fall 2008 election ballot. You can read a .PDF of the Affirmative Action Resolution with this link. |
