PFLAG Denver has a Speakers  Bureau – a group of members who want to contribute by doing outreach to the community, to educate and advocate for equality and acceptance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender families and people.

We can supply speakers for any group or event, on any topic. Some notable engagements have been:

Speakers to talk about the history of marriage from the biblical era to moden times, to highlight the diversity and changeablity of beliefs and customs.

Speakers to Faith Communities to encourage them to be vocal allies to their members who sit silently in the pews every week.

Speakers to industrial, government and corporate groups to celebrate “LGBT month or day” or to encourage employees to be better allies to their co-workers.

Speakers to classes in middle schools on Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender awareness and sensitivity.

Speakers to GSA’s in High Schools on how to come out to families and parents, and how PFLAG Denver can help parents process their concerns and feelings in that family coming out process.
